Mission

The mission of the Society for Women Environmental Professionals of Massachusetts (SWEP-MA) is to:

Encourage and promote the leadership, achievement, professional and personal development of women involved or interested in environmental law, science, engineering, business, and policy.

To accomplish this Mission, SWEP-MA:

• Provides a forum for women to meet, share and discuss technical information and work experiences in the environmental professions;
• Educates members on new developments and current trends in the environmental field;
• Encourages and supports members' involvement in leadership and mentoring;
• Encourages and promotes the development of business relationships; and
• Encourages and promotes public service.
